All

BAUFELD D22

Location: Seestadt Aspern, Vienna, Austria

Date of construction: 2015 - 2017 planning: 2013-2016

Info: The entire structure was built as a low-energy building using mineral and single-shell construction methods, therefore a significant contribution was made to dispensing with petroleum-based full thermal insulation. The structure is sustainable as it has a strong focus on inclusivity, the floors and windows are PVC-free and it has a combination of living comfort and sustainability with simultaneous cost efficiency. Furthermore, the high standards of planning in terms of ecological, economic and socio-cultural quality of the three building components are reflected in countless points such as ecological choice of materials, longevity and stability of value. Finally, the consistent green space concept connects the adjacent building sites into a coherent ensemble and offers sufficient space for recreation and leisure activities.
