CONSTRUCTED EXCLUSIVELY OF DOMESTIC MATERIALS IN THE SPIRIT OF CROATIA’S CENTURIES OF TRADITION

Info: Valens Residences is part of the Croatian villa project entitled “First Croatian Villas”, constructed exclusively of domestic materials in the spirit of Croatia’s centuries of tradition.
The external walls are made of locally produced clay bricks.
The facade of the building is lined with Istrian stone from a quarry just a few kilometers from the building.
Due to the high temperatures in this area, white roof tiles were used on the roof, which enables a high rate of reflection of sunlight, reduced heating of the interior space and energy savings.
A large number of hours of sunshine were used to produce electricity using solar panels on the roof.
