CÀ DELLE ALZAIE: URBAN REGENERATION AND ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY PROJECT

Date of construction: 2018-2021

Info: Through the international signature of architect Stefano Boeri the city of Treviso discovers brand new living scenarios. Countless natural essences inebriate the senses and reflect the available housing solutions: from the tow-room apartment to the attic, with a garden on the ground floor or suspended. It is a urban reforestation model that reached towards the sky to restore more than 2 hectares of green: 120 trees on the façade and 400 low plants, it means 2,7 tons of oxygen a year and more than 2 hectares of nature including the park and the vertical green.

An architecture that harmoniously interacts with the surrounding landscape, a mosaic of tree filled loggias raises the luxuriant nature creating a suspended ecosystem, thanks to the extraordinary project by the internationally renowned agronomist Laura Gatti.

For the external envelope the construction company choose innovative clay block from Wienerberger IT.
